The Adams Rescue Mission exists to proclaim the passion of Jesus toward the hungry, homeless, abused, and addicted; to accelerate recovery and restoration to the least, last, lonely, and lost.

Our Services

Agape House

The Agape house is more than a shelter for the homeless.  We have designed a program that provides opportunities for displaced women and families to become integrated into the community.

Men's Shelter

The purpose of the Men’s shelter is not just to house the homeless.  The men are taught life skills based on the Word of God.

For your convenience, recyclables may be dropped off at the Adams County Rescue Mission, 2515 York Road, between 8 am – 8 pm, Monday through Saturday (excluding holidays).  Help is available to unload your car.

Thrift Store

The ARM Boutique provides a unique shopping experience for everyone.  From clothing, household items, purses and books, to toys, shoes, holiday items, and furniture; there is always something new to find!

The ARM-UP Greenhouse is a vocational training program of the Adams Rescue Mission, designed to provide both sustainable income for the ARM, and another avenue of training for program residents.
