Recyclable Items We Accept

Aluminum Cans and scrap metal - (Please remove webbing from old lawn chairs)

Tin Cans - Labels may be left on, but please rinse all cans and bottles for sanitary reasons

Cardboard/Corrugated - Without waxy finish

Glass - NO BLUE GLASS and no need to remove labels, but please rinse (BOTTLES ONLY - no glass panes or broken glass)

Newspaper - No glossy inserts

Magazines

'White' Paper - Notebook paper, copy paper, stationary, church bulletins, office paper, computer paper, some junk mail (please remove plastic window on envelopes and glossy inserts)

Paper can be in both sheet and shredded form.  All paper will be shredded before it is baled.  It may be dropped off during normal drop off hours.  However, if you need to watch your office paper while it is being shredded (security reasons), please make an appointment by calling the office.

Clothing and Textiles - Please bag or box usable clothing separately from other items  (No oily or wet clothing please)

Plastic - ONLY #'s 1 and 2 (bottle form only)

Household Items - Household items in GOOD CONDITION ONLY will be accepted.  Items must be complete, clean and in working order to be sold in the store.

Furniture and Appliances - We only accept furniture and appliances in good condition and working properly.  Please call three to five days ahead for a pick-up in Adams County only, or you can drop off furniture between 9:00 am and 4:30 pm, Monday through Saturday
