ARM Recycling Program
For your convenience, recyclables may be dropped off at the Mission, 2515 York Road, between 8 am – 8 pm, Monday through Saturday (excluding holidays). Help is available to unload your car.
**Please note that we do have WINTER HOURS: starting January until March our recycling will be opened from 8 am – 6 pm.**
Recyclable Items We Accept
Aluminum Cans and scrap metal – (Please remove webbing from old lawn chairs). Please rinse out cans.
Tin Cans – Labels may be left on, but please rinse all cans and bottles for sanitary reasons.
Cardboard/Corrugated – Without waxy finish. Includes card stock and other wood pulp paper, construction paper. For LARGE loads of cardboard, please call in advance to schedule a drop off.
Newspaper – No glossy inserts
Magazines
Office Paper – White office paper, regular weight colored office paper, NCR paper.
Paper that is already shredded will be accepted in bags or boxes.
Paper can be dropped off at Drop Box, Mon-Sat, 8 am – 8 pm but will not be shredded.
Appointments below can be made for people or businesses to drop off paper to be shredded. Paper will be shredded during the appointment time, but no one may be in the warehouse ‘watching’. This policy changed in April 2024, due to safety concerns.
Clothing and Textiles, Shoes and belts – Clothing in good condition only. (No oily or wet clothing please.) Pillows and bedding must be unstained.
Plastic – ONLY #’s 1 and 2 (bottle form only). Please rinse out plastic bottles.
Glass- Bottles and jars ONLY. Please rinse out the bottles and jars.
Household Items – Household items in GOOD CONDITION ONLY will be accepted. Items must be complete, clean and in working order to be sold in the store. View Merchandise Donation Guidelines HERE.
Furniture and Appliances – We only accept furniture and appliances in good condition and working properly. Please call three weeks ahead for a pick-up in Adams County only, or you can drop off furniture between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm, Monday through Saturday.
